Kathy – April 2017 Member of the Month!
It’s such an incredible opportunity to honor Kathy. She’s been with Les Mills Group Fitness at this location from the very beginning. Over the past year she’s recovered from serious injuries (not related to her workout) and always maintained an incredible positive attitude.
- What or who brought me to Champ?
I followed some very good instructors from another gym to Champs! I wanted to keep doing Les Mills workouts with these great instructors!
- How long have I been a Champ member?
I’ve been at champs for group fitness since it started! I was here prior to champs with Kiwi! Seven plus years ! I’ve been doing Les Mills workouts for ten plus Years!
- What do I like most about Champ?
I love group fitness!!! The instructors and all the people working out inspire me! We feed off each other’s energy! If I had to work out at home I would find excuses not too plus its boring! The class schedule has always fit my lifestyle!!!
- What is my biggest obstacle to working out?
Can’t say I have any obstacles! I try to come 4 days a week and if I do miss I try to find a class I can make up!!! They even offer express classes which some days I do!!! I really hate to miss a class ! My days are so much better with exercise!
- What is my greatest gain from being part of the Champ tribe?
I am 62 years young! I’ve been doing group fitness for ten years my health and fitness are excellent and I plan to keep this lifestyle for as long as my body will let me!! I love and care about all the people I’ve met here at champ!!! When I leave here after a class the feeling of accomplishment and energy is off the charts!
- Advice to others?
Put your health and fitness as a priority every day!!! Group fitness is fun at any age and any level!! Come to champ you will love our awesome instructors and make new friends!! We love to welcome new faces!!! .
